We booked one of the ship-sponsored excursions called “Huatulco by Land and Sea,” but they canceled it due to high wind, so we booked “La Crucesita & Scenic Drive” instead at the last minute. It was basically “Huatulco by Land and Sea” without Sea. It was OK. Got some great photos of the ship from one of the viewpoints. Toward the end of the tour, we stopped at an open-air restaurant. They served each of us a taco made with freshly made tortilla (they were making them right there) and a bottle of water. It was tasty, but very tiny, so it’s just a snack.
There was a lot of driving around, and a town of La Crucesita wasn’t as lovely as I imagined, but Huatulco was a nice resort town, and it was an OK tour.
